G/S Consultants has been providing Strong Interest Inventory™ and MBTI® training and program development consulting since 1978. We are committed to the promotion of the ethical use of career assessments. Our trainers are organizational consultants, National Certified Career Counselors, psychologists, and educators, with extensive experience in using and teaching the Strong Interest Inventory™ and MBTI® assessments.

Judith Grutter, M.S., NCC, MCC
Judith Grutter, GS Principal and trainer, has been a career development program consultant and trainer for over 40 years. A National Certified Counselor and NCDA Master Career Counselor, she developed and for several years coordinated the graduate programs in career counseling at California State University, Northridge. She is on CSUN's adjunct faculty, as well as the qualifying training faculties of the American Management Association and CPP, Inc.
Ms. Grutter consults regularly with business, industry, education, and government on programs and issues related to career selection, satisfaction, and transition. She is a recognized authority on the uses of assessment in career counseling, and is co-author of the Strong Interest Inventory™ Interpretive Report, the Strong Interest Inventory™ / MBTI® Career Report, Where do I go Next? Using Your Strong Interest Inventory™ Results to Manage Your Career, and Making it in Today’s Organizations Using the Strong and MBTI® Tools. Her latest publication is Career Exploration for College Students Using the Strong and MBTI® Tools.
A past president of the California Career Development Association, Ms. Grutter is a recipient of the National Career Development Association's Award for Excellence in Career Development, the California Career Development Association’s first Judith Grutter Practitioner of the Year Award, and the 2004 Lifetime Achievement in Career Development Award.
Judi is the author of the GS MBTI® Qualifying Program for Career Counselors and Educators and co-author of the GS Strong Interest Inventory™ Qualifying Program.

Jean M. Kummerow, Ph.D.
Dr. Jean Kummerow is a psychologist/consultant/author in St. Paul, Minnesota. She specializes in career counseling, leadership/management development, and team building, and has worked with a variety of for-profit, non-profit, and governmental organizations. She trains professionals internationally in the use of psychological instruments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), the MBTI® Step II, and the Strong Interest Inventory™ assessments.
She writes on topics such as leadership development, team building, communication styles, career development, and adult life stages. Her chapter, "Uses of Type in Career Counseling," is in the revised 1998 MBTI® Manual. She is co-author of Introduction to Type® in Organizations, LIFETypes, and the Strong Interest Inventory™ instrument + MBTI® Career Development Guide and Workbook; and is editor of New Directions in Career Planning in the Workplace. She co-authored the MBTI® Step II Expanded Interpretive Report and Client Workbook.
Jean has previously held positions as a Consulting Psychologist with a management consulting firm, and as a Counselor, Instructor and Research Associate at the University of Minnesota. Her doctorate is in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology from that same institution. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Minnesota.
Jean is a co-author of the GS Strong Interest Inventory™ Qualifying Program, and a contributor to the GS MBTI® Qualifying Program for Career Counselors and Educators.

Cheryl Hollatz-Wisely, M.Ed.
Cheryl is the newest GS Strong Interest Inventory® Qualifying Program trainer. She has been happily steeped in career and personality assessments and career counseling since 1990. She has experience in both two- and four-year colleges and universities as a counselor, teacher, and administrator. She is currently a faculty counselor in the Career Center at Portland State University in Oregon, and teaches college success and personal development classes for Clackamas Community College.
Her areas of Strong and MBTI® expertise are career development, personal growth and decision making, work values, teaching and workshop delivery, and diversity training. She holds a Master of Education degree in General Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and also practices as a private career consultant in Portland, Oregon. She has interests in the use of the Strong and MBTI in the areas of personal development and student success, and frequently overlays the discussion of learning style and multiple intelligence in the training and work that she does. GS welcomes Cheryl’s in-depth knowledge of a variety of psychometric instruments.

Olivia Martinez, M.A.
Olivia has nearly 20 years of experience in all levels of education, ranging from elementary school teaching to university counseling and administration. She is currently the Director of Career Services at California College of the Arts, and has held professional positions in career counseling and advising at Stanford, Santa Clara, and Indiana Universities.
Her areas of Strong and MBTI® expertise are student diversity, the career development and decision making of liberal arts and fine arts students, workshop development and delivery, and academic advising. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Santa Clara University, and is a Certified International Career and Job Development Coach, and a Certified Job Search Trainer.
We at GS are excited to have Olivia join our training staff this year! We know that our college and university clients will welcome her.

Ryan Ross, M.A.
Ryan comes to GS training from the Community College of Denver, where he has been the Director of their Educational Talent Search Program and is currently the Educational Opportunity Center Director. He has also been a counselor and advisor for the community college and the Denver Public Schools.
His areas of Strong and MBTI® expertise are first generation college students, student retention, and student diversity. He has extensive experience with career assessments in TRIO programs. An NCDA Global Career Development Facilitator, Ryan holds a Masters of Education Degree in Organizational Performance and Change from Colorado State University, and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Colorado in Educational Leadership and Innovation.
Ryan is committed to providing educational opportunities to at risk youth. He is the co-founder of the Kappa Junior Ambassador program, a leadership development program focusing on urban males, and serves on several non-profit boards that advocate for educational access for underrepresented groups. He is President of his own motivational speaking and career training company—Stirred Up Enterprises. We are delighted to have Ryan bring his energy and expertise to the GS training staff.
